Devarti is an Indo-Canadian singer, vocalist, stage performer, and musician,

She hails from a family of musically talented people and started learning music from the age of 8 years. She has been trained initially under the guidance of her Guru, Shrimati Arati Burman - radio & television classical singer from Kolkata. She completed her " Sangeet Visharad " in Hindusthani Classical Music and Bhav Sangeet through 'Pracheen Kala Kendra'. She has later continued her training in Classical music from her later guru, Shri Prosenjit Deoghoria, an eminent Classical singer in Toronto.
She has participated in several Inter-school and Inter-collegiate music competitions and won felicitations and accolades in her early years. She participated in "R.D.Burman Awards" in Kolkata and was selected among the Top 4 finalists. She migrated to Toronto in 2002. She was chosen as a winner in several music competitions she participated in North America –namely "Saat Suro ka Sargam", "Indo Canadian Idol in 2006 in Toronto".

She performed Classical music in CNE concert, Toronto in 2004 and The World Yoga concert in Toronto in 2004 with the Sitar maestro Shambhu Das - a contemporary & friend of Pandit Ravi Shankar.

She has performed semi-classical and light music professional in various stage shows and cultural events, in TV and Radio and has been highly appreciated by the audience for her melodious voice & stage presence. She has been a huge fan of ASHA BHOSLE and has always idolized her since her childhood as one of the most versatile singers of all times.
She has been fortunate and humbled to have performed duets in stage concerts in Toronto with some of the greatest singers in the Bollywood Music Industry, the Legendary singers Manna Dey ji and Kumar Shanu ji.

She was honored to have been selected as one of the Indian Musicians and Performers participating in the prestigious "Year of India in Canada" in 2011, sponsored and hosted by the Government of Canada, alongside other eminent and well-known Musicians from India.
She has also performed professionally in various other stage shows in and around USA and Canada, in Toronto, Niagara Falls, Vancouver, London, Quebec, Hamilton & Sarnia). She has also been a part of the playback music in some of the Radio and TV programs and Jingles and Advertisements in Toronto.
In 2012 she moved to China. She performed in various cultural shows for The Indian Consulate events, Bengali Association and The Marathi community and local events sponsored by The Government of China. She also organized and coordinated Group vocal events on the occasions of Rabindra Jayanti annually from 2012 to 2016 to pay a tribute to Kobi Guru Rabindranath Thakur, on behalf of the Consulate General of India in Shanghai. During her stay in China, she has performed professionally in various concerts in Fujian- Quanzhou, Shanghai, and Suzhou.
​Her Bengali Music Album "Friends for Tagore" was released in Kolkata on the eve of 22 shey Srabon, August 7th by Rooh music. Her album presented Rabindra Sangeet with a unique and contemporary flavor.
She moved to Singapore with her family in 2017 and has been working on freelance music projects and participated in various local concerts and enthralled the audience with her melodious voice and stage presence. She has also performed in several concerts in recent times in India (Kolkata, North 24 Parganas WB, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, etc), Johor Bahru- Malaysia, and in and around SingaporeE.
She has started music classes for kids in Hindustani semi-classical and Bhav Sangeet and Light music.

She is also a Visual UI/UX Designer by profession. She has worked in the Design industry for more than 15 years and worked for multinational companies, event management companies, and Non-profit Organizations.
